About Arne Jacobsen: Besides being one of the most famous Scandinavian architects of the last century, Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) was also a fantastic industrial designer. He designed the famous Swan Chair, the Series 7 stackable chairs and the amazing Egg Chair - as well as lamps, tableware, cutlery and, of course, clocks. His clock designs for Danish railway stations, town halls and a commercial bank have been translated to the wrist. Arne Jacobsen watches have a typical concave dial and the indexes are applied directly to the dial.
