The watch brand Pontiac was founded in 1931 by Dutchman Ali Kinsbergen. The name Pontiac comes from an important eighteenth-century Indian chief of the Odawa tribe. Pontiac is a major watch brand in the Benelux countries. Among older people, the slogan ‘seventy metres I fell deep, my heart stood still, but my Pontiac walked’ will be familiar, which was used by Pontiac after the cyclist Wim van Est fell into a 70-metre-deep ravine during the Tour de France and survived, along with his Pontiac.

The current collection of Pontiac watches all feature a Swiss movement and scratch-resistant sapphire glass. They are manufactured with the utmost care and feature unique details typical of the Pontiac brand. The manufacturer offers a three-year warranty.
